Unit referred to as Gunpowder Gneiss [in agreement with recent State usage]. May be intrusive sill in Rush Brook Member of Loch Raven Schist (Cambrian-Ordovician(?)). Age modified to Ordovician based on 450 m.y. date from Concordia plot.
