Unit is named the Granite Canyon Formation [Granite Canyon Till is also used]. Consists of compact gray till composed of loam or clay loam with abundant pebbles and cobbles. Thickness is 2 m. Unconformably overlies striated and grooved Paleozoic limestone; gradationally underlies the Forest Creek Formation. Age is late Pleistocene. (B1520)

Granite Canyon Till is extended into the report area. Is equivalent to the Granite Canyon Formation of McKenzie (1970).
