Summary:

Pg. 141. Feldt Ranch beds of Ash Hollow formation of Ogallala group. Name applied to 15 feet of beds of loose cross-bedded sand and gravel, cemented grit, and porous limestone that occur in lower part of Ash Hollow formation in type section of the Ogallala. Age is Pliocene.
Type locality: on north side of South Platte Valley, 2 to 2.5 mi east and northeast of Ogallala, [in SW/4 NE/4 sec. 33, T. 14 N., R. 38 W.], Keith Co., southwestern NE. (Also type locality of Ogallala.)
