Summary:

[Credited to H.F. Bain.] Pg. 511-517. Earlham limestone. The first heavy limestone above Fragmental limestone (No. 3 of exposure in sec. 22, Lincoln Township [Madison County, Iowa]), is = beds quarried at Earlham and hence may be called Earlham limestone. In Kansas City formation. Age is Pennsylvanian. Present in western Iowa and Missouri and eastern Kansas.
