Summary:

Pg. 2869. Eagle Gorge Andesite of /Keechelus Volcanic Group. Thickness 730 to 4,150 feet. Unconformably overlies Huckleberry Mountain Formation (new); unconformably underlies Stampede Tuff (new), both of Keechelus Volcanic Group. Age is late Eocene.
Occurs in west-central Cascade Range, WA.
[Keechelus Volcanic Group conflicts with nomenclature guidelines stating a group name combines a geographic name with the term "group," and no lithic designation is included (ACSN, 1961, 1970; NACSN, 1983, 2005, 2021).]
