Summary:

Dusenberry Hill Quartzite. A regionally extensive orthoquartzite, 10 to 20 feet thick. Lies about 400 to 800 feet above Curtis Mountain Quartzite. To west, the Dusenberry Hill is interbedded with black quartzite in gray-green silty Mettawee Argillite and is stratigraphically very close to overlying West Castleton black shale which also interbeds of black quartzite. Recognized in New York. Age is Cambrian.
