Summary:

Name Durbin formation proposed to include all of dolomitic series --the Euphemia, Springfield, and Cedarville dolomites. Named for exposures 1 mi east of Durbin in Mills quarries. The Springfield and Cedarville dolomites are also well exposed immediately northeast of Durbin. Age is Silurian (Niagaran).
