Summary:

Named as the upper informal unit of the Mississippian Castle Reef Formation (redefined; revised) in the Sweetgrass arch. Named for North Fork Dupuyer Creek. No type locality designated. Is a sequence of dolomitized lime mudstone, skeletal packstone, and wackestone. Is gray, thin- to thick-bedded, massively parted. Corals, bryozoans, and brachiopods present in lower part. Ranges from 30 to 50 m thick. Is 65.1 m thick at Gibson Lake. Overlies Gateway Pass unit of Castle Reef. Underlies Ellis Group.
