Summary:

Named as 4th from lowermost member (of 6) of Chainman Formation along UT-NV boundary. Consists of molassic conglomerates and coarse clastics which thin eastward away from the ancient Antler orogenic belt. Unit is about 250 ft thick. Overlies Camp Canyon Member; underlies Willow Gap Limestone Member (both new and of Chainman Formation). Age of Chainman Formation is Late Mississippian based on faunal zone analysis.
