Summary:
Diamond Springs Formation, named in this report in Princess Anne Co., VA, consists of fluvial sand and gravel. Maximum thickness about 15 ft. Overlies Norfolk Formation; underlies Kempsville Formation (new name). Age is middle or late Pleistocene.
