Summary:

Pg. 30 (table 1), 35. Referred to as Curry iron-bearing member of Vulcan iron-formation in Menominee group (reinstated) of Animikie series. Overlies Brier slate member and underlies Loretto slate member. Age is considered middle Precambrian. Area of report in Iron and Dickinson Counties, northwestern Michigan (Lake Superior region). Report includes stratigraphic sequence chart.
