Summary:

Reduced in stratigraphic rank from member of Blaine Formation. Revised as a bed in the Elm Fork Member (first used) of Blaine Formation of El Reno Group. Is 1.1 ft thick unit of pale yellow-gray pelletoidal dolomite at its type locality where it overlies Cedartop Gypsum Bed of Elm Fork and underlies Collingsworth Gypsum Bed. Overlies unnamed gray-green and red-brown shale at most localities. Usually 1-2 ft thick; ranges between 0.5 to 8.0 ft thick. Present in sections measured in Harmon and Jackson Cos (Palo Duro basin), in Beckham Co (Anadarko basin), and Greer Co (S. Oklahoma folded belt province). Cross sections. Permian age.
