Summary:

The Cayey Siltstone Member of the Robles Formation, here named, consists of laminated siltstone with layers of sandstone and volcanic breccia. Overlies the Rio Maton Limestone Member and is intertongued with the Lapa Lava Member of the Robles. Maximum thickness is 300 m. Age is Late Cretaceous or older.
