Pg. 66. Cave Springs sandstone. Suggested by G.I. Adams for sandstone separating the two limestone composing Elk Falls limestone in vicinity of Cave Springs, Elk County, southern Kansas. In some areas the beds separating these limestones are shales. Age is Pennsylvanian.
