Summary:

Named as member of Equality Formation for town of Carmi, White Co., southeastern IL. Consists of well-bedded glacio-lacustrine deposits of silt and clay. Thickness ranges from 1.5 to 15 m. Overlies Wadsworth Till Member of Wedron Formation; underlies South Haven or Winnetka Member of Lake Michigan Formation. Age is Pleistocene.
