Pg. 50. Burbank member of Cuyahoga formation. Basal member of Cuyahoga formation in Wayne County, north-central Ohio. Grayish blue shales and grayish buff sandstones alternating; 150 feet exposed. Underlies Armstrong member and overlies Sunbury shale.
Named from Burbank, in northern part of Wayne Co., north-central OH.

Consists of series of alternating gray arenaceous shales and buff-gray fine-grained sandstones and siltstones with maximum exposed thickness of 150 feet. Base not exposed. Underlies Armstrong sandstone member. [Age is Mississippian.]
