Pg. 11. Bellows Field Formation. Extensive lithified, cream, calcareous, dune-sand deposits that form low hills in Waimanalo coastal plain. Extends 160 feet above sea level and as much as 160 feet below present sea level. Unconformably overlies in places Kaena Formation (new). Unconformably underlies Waimanalo Formation (new). Deposited during Regression III of Illinoian glacial time. Age is Pleistocene.
Type locality: [Waimanalo Beach area, approx. Lat. 21 deg. 20 min. 00 sec. N., Long. 157 deg. 42 min. 00 sec. W., Koko Head 7.5-min quadrangle, Honolulu Co.], southeast shore of Island of Oahu, HI.
