Summary:

Named the Batestown Till Member of the Wedron Formation for Batestown, Vermilion Co., IL. Consists of 4 meters of gray till. Unit overlies Glenburn Till Member of the Wedron Formation or the Vandalia Till Member of the Glasford Formation and underlies the Snider Hill Till Member of the Wedron Formation. The Batestown is of Pleistocene (Wisconsinan) age.
