Summary:

The Barros Tuff Member of the Torrecilla Breccia, here named, consists of moderately weathered, thick-bedded, coarse, yellowish- to reddish-brown tuff and fine breccia interlayered with thin-bedded tuffaceous sandstone and siltstone. Gradationally underlies the Robles Formation. Thickness is 80 to 100 m at type section, and ranges from 0 to 120 m. Age is Albian.
