Summary:

Argyle Till Member of Winnebago Formation named for town in Winnebago Co., north-central IL. Consists of salmon to reddish-brown, loosely compacted, sandy cobble and pebble till. Overlies Juda Gravel or unnamed silts of Winnebago Formation. Underlies Plano Silt Member or younger deposits. Age is Pleistocene (Altonian).
