Type section designated as exposures along Antoine Creek northeast of Tonasket in Okanogan River Valley, sec.26 T38N R27E, Okanogan Co, northeast WA. Composed of yellow-green and gray conglomerate in arkosic sand matrix. Thickness range is 290 to 370 m. Overlies Siwash Formation [new]. Age is Tertiary.
