Pg. 42, 48. Altona dolomite member of Blaine division. Fossiliferous arenaceous dolomite overlying a stratum of shale (Jenkins clay of Cragin) and underlying Shimer gypsum member, all of which are included in Blaine division. [Age is Permian.]
Named from Altona Post Office, western part of Kingfisher Co., central OK.
