
The "Geologic Mapping in Progress" database lists areas that are now
being mapped, and describes who to contact for more information. This
database is a component of the National Geologic Map Database, and
provides information about mapping by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS),
State geological surveys, and academia under the National Cooperative
Geologic Mapping Program.
In order to improve our service to our customers, we have created
a more dynamic version of our "Geologic Mapping in Progress" page.
The page can now be found at
http://ngmdb.usgs.gov/MapProgress/MIP_home.html.
