NCGMP09 -- draft standard format for digital publication of geologic maps

version 1.1, January 15, 2011 (with minor updates to text, on February 25, 2011)

CONTENTS:

1)  NCGMP09_v1-1.doc and NCGMP09_v1-1.pdf-- documentation of design

2)  GeneralLithology_1-1.xls -- Excel file containing terms, definitions, and hierarchy key (see Appendix A in NCGMP09 documentation).

3)  NCGMP09_ERdiagrams(Figure 2) -- higher resolution versions of Entity-relationship diagrams shown in the documentation's Figure 2.

4)  GSC_FGDC-style.zip -- ESRI style file of selected symbols from the FGDC DIgital Cartographic Standard for Geologic Map Symbolization.  Provided courtesy of Geological Survey of Canada.

5)  NCGMP09_Toolbox.zip -- Scripts for creating, analyzing, and manipulating NCGMP09-style geodatabases using ArcGIS.
