Several short amphitheaters eroded in northwest side of north branch (locally known as Oil Canyon from presence of several small oil seeps) of Las Llajas Canyon, immediately northwest of mouth of Las Llajas Canyon, on northeast side of Simi Valley, Ventura Co., southeastern CA (McMasters, 1933).
