East of Willow Creek Spring, and west and south of Bucket Ranch Spring, from SE/4 sec. 2, T. 29 S., R. 16 W., to S/2 sec. 4, T. 29 S., R. 15 W., Wah Wah Mountains, Lamerdorf Peak 7.5-min quadrangle, Beaver Co., UT. Named from Lamerdorf Peak, in sec. 18, T. 29 S., R. 15 W., Beaver Co., UT (Campbell, 1978).
Reference section: lower tuff in sec. 33, T. 26 S., R. 18 W. ; upper tuff is northwest of Lund (Campbell, 1978).
Type locality: in secs. 1, 2, and 12, T. 29 S., R. 16 W., and in sec. 5, T. 29 S., R. 15 W., Beaver Co., UT (Best and Grant, 1987).
