Type locality: approx. 1 mi (1.6 km) north of Natick quadrangle in adjoining Concord quadrangle, southeast of Merriam Street crossing of Cherry Brook, with felsic volcanic rocks about 0.6 mi (0.96 km) east of Merriam Street, along railroad in Natick quadrangle, Middlesex Co., eastern MA (Nelson, 1974).
