Summary:

Used informally as Ossipee Mountain Complex of Kingsley (1931). Now mapped as unnamed rocks (rhyolite, fine-grained granite, quartz syenite porphyry, and massive to porphyritic basalt) within White Mountain Plutonic-Volcanic Suite. Isotope age of 122 +/-2 Ma [Early Cretaceous per time scale of Palmer, 1983] by K-Ar methods was reported by Foland and Faul (1977).
