Type section: along top of ridge on east side of Guadalupe Box, Lat. 35 deg. 44 min. 00 sec. N., Long. 106 deg. 45 min. 45 sec. W., just east of State Road 485, 1.2 mi north of village of Gilman, Sandoval Co., NM (DuChene and others, 1977).
