Type section: line extending N. 40 deg. W. from point where Dudley Hill Road leaves Southbridge quadrangle, [UTM] 388,700 ft N; 464,225 ft E, to Cady Brook northwest of Carlton Street School. Named from town of Southbridge, Worcester Co., MA (Pease, 1972).
Extended along Quinebaug River in Webster quadrangle to 1 km southeast.
