Exposures at Ottosee Lake in Chilhowee Park, Knoxville, TN (Ulrich, 1911).

Unit Name History:
Named Ottosee shale of Blount group (Ulrich, 1911). Revised to Ottosee limestone in VA only (Butts, 1940). Extended into GA (Butts and Gildersleeve, 1948). Not used (Neuman, 1955). Removed from Blount group (Bridge, 1956). Included in Chickamauga Group in TN (Milici, 1973). Correlation information (Frey, 1995).
