First used (Prosser, 1888). Named (Prosser, 1890). Abandoned (Clarke and Schuchert, 1899). Reinstated (Hartnagel, 1905). Overview in PA (Butts, 1936). Extended into WV (Woodward, 1951). Included in Lorraine Group in NY (Rickard, 1970). Overview in VA (Rader and Biggs, 1976). Included in Judy Gap Group (Chen, 1977). Overview in WV (Dean and others, 1985). Areal limits; Age modified (Ryder, 1992).
