Unit Name History:
Named (Wherry, 1909). Abandoned (Miller and others, 1939). Reinstated (Howell and others, 1950). Extended into NJ (Drake and others, 1961). Revised to member of Kittatinny Formation in NJ (Miller, 1974). Subdivided (Markewicz and others, 1977). Age modified (Drake, 1978). Assigned to Kittatinny Supergroup (Drake and Lyttle, 1980). Overview (Dalton, 1989).
