Goodwin Limestone of Pogonip Group (NV*)

Early Ordovician*


Type section, locality, area and/or origin of name:

On either side of Goodwin Canyon just east of Hill 7708 of Eureka mining district quadrangle, where limestone is well exposed. Also recognized in Antelope Valley area. Named from Goodwin Canyon, east-central NV (Nolan and others, 1956).
