Forms thin and discontinuous beach deposit along old Lake Bonneville shore line. Deposits encircle Lake Mountain.
Reference locality designated at excavation site northeast of Salt Lake City water purification plant, at approx. NE corner SE/4 sec. 2, T. 3 S., R. 1 E., Salt Lake Co. area, UT on Wasatch uplift (Morrison, 1965).
