Reference Summary Author

The Reference Summary Author refers to the author(s) that appear in the Reference Summaries for a particular unit. Reference Summaries contain additional information regarding a particular unit. You may enter a partial or complete string. Upper and lower case characters are considered equal so either may be used.

When searching for a specific author, it is recommended that you enter single word names rather than enter every character that is expected to occur in the author field of the Reference Summary. For example;

If searching for the units associated with authors:

"Drake, A.A., Jr., and Froelich, A.J.",

it is not recommended that you enter the entire author string. A typographical or punctuation error may be likely. A safer and more complete search would result if
or

are entered as single word names.
